I'm back to Brainsponge.  I've changed my website several times since the Brainsponge days but just have a strong urge to get back to basics.  I'm currently on Facebook which provides a great opportunity to network socially online but the basic act of journaling has definitely been missing.  With this new year I hope to get back to what I love - simply, writing my thoughts and feelings and documenting my time.

We had a fantasic Christmas in Nebraska.  It may have been a blsessing in disguise but we were snowed in at mom's for two days during  the great blizzard of 2009.  We actually stayed in the house, nowhere to go for two whole days!  When we did leave, we drove through drifts taller than the van - quite the sight.  Especially for a family who has spent six years in Texas before returning to the great North.

Otherwise, I'm still struggling with the same lifelong issues - body image, "who am I?, and "who do I want to be?"  I'm getting closer every day.  Right now I feel blessed to have the perfect cliche -  a wonderful husband and three healthy, beautiful, smart and hilarious children.  Life is good.

So right now Mike is in the basement preparing "man land" - finally!  He bought a 52" flat-screen plasma TV which is going above the fireplace - yay!  Surround sound is next on his list.  Nick and Stephen are outside sledding with Jack and Macy and Emily are upstairs checking out Macy's new roomphone.  Life is good.
